Twelve months, 26 port state inspections, zero detentions

Fleet deficiency rate of 0.42 per inspection against an industry average of 1.8, with every finding closed before the next port.

Across the twelve months to 31 July 2026, vessels under our management underwent 26 port state control inspections in Australia, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands. None resulted in a detention.

Eleven deficiencies were recorded in total — a rate of 0.42 per inspection against a Tokyo MOU average of approximately 1.8. Every finding was closed out before the vessel's next port call, and each was circulated across the fleet as a lessons-learned bulletin.

We treat inspection results as an operational indicator rather than a marketing figure: they are reported to owners monthly alongside near-miss counts, rest-hour compliance and outstanding class conditions.
