A ship manager built by people who ran ships, for owners who expect answers.
Sailor Hengtong Marine Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-incorporated third-party ship management company providing technical management, crew management, commercial support, newbuilding supervision and HSEQ assurance to owners of dry bulk, tanker and container tonnage.
The company was founded by master mariners and chief engineers who had spent their careers at sea and in fleet superintendency, and who believed owners deserved a manager that reports honestly, controls cost credibly and keeps crews long enough to know their ships. Today we manage eight vessels totalling 398,300 DWT, employ 268 seafarers and operate from offices in Singapore with crewing partners across Asia.
We deliberately keep the fleet focused. Every vessel has a named fleet manager who visits her, a superintendent who knows her machinery history and a crewing officer who knows her people. That is only possible at a size where nobody is a number — and it is the reason owners who join us tend to stay.
